Nov 19-26 (Sun-Sun) ― FUMC Hosts Family Promise

Nov 28, 29, 30 (Tues,Wed,Thur) ― Madrigal Dinners, 6:30pm, Fellowship Hall

P. K. Yonge Performing Arts presents Madrigal Dinners on November 28, 29 and 30th at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Doors open at 6pm. The Dinner and show featuring the Vocal Ensemble, Women's Ensemble and the Chamber Choir will begin at 6:30. Tickets are $18. Email Dr. Harris at to reserve tickets, which will be held at the Will Call Table each night. Checks can be made out to UF. Come join in the fun and merriment with students in renaissance costumes singing beautiful Christmas songs. The perfect way to start the holidays.

Free tickets will be distributed beginning 12:00 noon on Monday, November 27 from the Phillips Center Box Office only. There will be a limit of 4 tickets per person. Ticket only guarantees admission until 6:45pm. The box office will be open on Sunday, December 3 beginning at 5:00pm. If the box office runs out of tickets, any empty seats will be filled beginning approximately 15 minutes before the start of show.

Dicken’s Inn, our annual Christmas dinner and music celebration, will be on Dec. 12th and 14th at 6:00p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. RSVP’s are required and can be made by signing up after worship or by calling the church office. Wednesday night study! “Three Simple Rules: A Wesleyan Way of Living”
begins this week, October 25 at 6:00 p.m. in the Bethany Room. Join us

The Bells, Choir, and Ensemble season has begun. Please join one or more of these groups.  Check out the schedule below.
We are always looking for new members to participate in our musical groups. We invite you to give us a try Please be sure to attend the first rehearsal of your group. Bring your favorite treat to share. We'll have a meet-and-greet at the end of each rehearsal. Contact Michael at if you have any questions.

The musical groups meet to rehearse as follows:

Instrumental Ensemble: Wednesdays, 5:45 pm, Sanctuary
First meeting for Fall 2017 is September 6.

Chancel Choir: Wednesdays,7:00 pm, Sanctuary

Celebration Ringers: Thursdays, 6:30 pm, Bell Room, 2nd Floor, Epworth Hall. First meeting for Fall 2017 is September 7.
