The First UMC faith family has commissioned a Requiem by composer Heather Sorenson and will be premiered at First UMC in April 2023 and at Carnegie Hall in November 2023!
We worship in a traditional style with a creative twist incorporating ancient and modern creeds, as well as many styles of music from classic hymns to blues and jazz, to mozart and handel, and everything in between!
Connect & Grow
At First UMC, ALL are valued, ALL are loved and ALL are needed to be ALL God is calling us to be - and in the midst of these incredibly challenging times, this is especially true more than ever.
Our faith family  is on a mission to connect our Church with our Community and our Community with Christ! We focus on ensuring social justice for all persons and serving those in need both in our local community and around the world.
