Britney Fernandez, soprano, is a current doctoral candidate at the University of Florida in Dr. Elizabeth Graham’s studio. Although primarily focused on classical training and opera performance, Britney has had extensive experience both performing and directing musical theatre. Britney has had the opportunity to perform in the United States and abroad in Austria and Germany. She is passionate about learning not only about performance practice, but also about the use of the arts in healthcare to create a better healing experience for those involved. She looks forward to being able to work with students to help foster a love for music while developing a solid technical foundation. Britney is excited to be a part of FUMC’s arts program as they seek to provide new learning opportunities to the community.
