Mission Minded

Aug 21, 2022    Pastor Beth Snarr

Identifying, embracing, and building on our strengths as a community of faith and as individual followers of Jesus is essential to a future of forward momentum and ministry effectiveness as we step into the Fall of 2022 and beyond. How can we reflect the “already and not yet” nature of God’s Kingdom come, God’s will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, by celebrating with gratitude the First UMC we see today and working with determination to grow into the First UMC we want to be tomorrow? This message series will highlight the strengths identified by our congregation of our church in the Fall of 2018 which remain true now. This week, Pastor Beth examines the question of how can we the follow the call of Jesus to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, care for the sick and visit the imprisoned?
