Remember Hope

at First United Methodist Church

Remember Hope is a concert sponsored by First UMC and others in our community celebrating the 200th anniversary of Alachua County through our shared history of civil rights, women's suffrage, LGBTQ+, veterans, and all those who struggle for equality and to be seen in North Central Florida.
Portions of the AIDS quilt, on loan from the Matheson History Museum, will be displayed in the Chapel prior to and following the performance.

Concert Details

Before and after the concert, you will have the opportunity to socialize with the participating organizations and learn more about the hope and resilience of the people in Alachua County.
The concert will performed by local instrumentalists and a Festival Chorus.
All are welcome to join the Festival Chorus!

Festival Chorus

All are welcome to join the Festival Chorus for this concert!
The Festival Chorus is meeting every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the First UMC Sanctuary for rehearsal. The Festival Chorus will also rehearse on the following dates:
Sunday, February 16 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. (lunch provided)
Sunday, March 9 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. (lunch provided)
Sunday, March 23 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. (lunch provided)
Wednesday, March 26 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Friday, March 28 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
