The Requiem is going to Carnegie Hall in New York City!  Join us and singers from all over the world as we participate in the Carnegie Hall Premiere of Requiem.  It will be a joy to share this work with the world in an amazing concert hall knowing that our soul and spirit lives within this work. First UMC is coordinating a trip to attend/perform in this concert - we will depart on November 24, attend/perform at the concert on November 27, and return on November 28.

The trip is open to everyone whether you are part of the group performing the Requiem or simply someone interested in supporting the singers. All of our allotted slots have been filled and registration is closed, but we are filling a waiting list if slots open up. Contact Michael Ekbladh if you wish to be put on the list. The price of this trip consists two parts: the concert and travel and we are accepting payments for those who are registered. The concert cost includes the venue cost (risers, promotions, security, ushers, etc.), a gala reception for the performers and non-performers, and seats for the non-singers. 

The travel cost consists of transportation, and accommodations based on the number of people in each room. We hope that these are to final total costs, but they may change if airfare costs change.
